extract ventilation appliance with air to water heat pump

Air To Water ApplianceIf you don't require heat recovery ventilation but still want to get rid of the stale air and utilise the waste heat within the home, choose an Aero unit. It will use the energy from the air to heat-up domestic water independently of your heating system. Useful if you cannot get ductwork all around the house, or you have a fairly new boiler which would be costly to replace and you can at least take advantage of the energy efficiency of an air to water heat pump to heat domestic hot water.
The Aero can be set-up in one of three ways:

          1. take air from outside and utilise the energy in it to provide 300L domestic hot water
        1. simply exhaust one duct to the outside and use an extract duct from the cold roof space for water heating
        2. set-up the ducting as a complete central extract system, meeting extract ventilation regulations as well, by removing moist stale air from the kitchen and bathrooms and using the energy to heat the integral 300L cylinder

The appliance is slim and compact enough to fit through any door, so it can be fitted quickly and easily by your installer without turning your home into a building site.

The Aero unit has the option of an integral heating element ready for connection to a solar panel, should the need arise, resulting in free hot water!

Energy consumption of the Aero unit is typically about 27% of the consumption of a normal electric water heater. Co-efficient's of performance (COP) of the range consistantly get to 4.3. (1kW of electricity in, 4.3kW of energy out).
